Use with Poultry

In the production of poultry, there is such a wide variation in facilities and magnitude of operation that it is difficult to specify exact concentrations of Dr. Willard's Water XXX to be used.   We have used our products for most breeds and classes of chickesn, trukeys, cornish game hens, quail, pheasants, ducks and geese.

We will therefore give you general directions and each operator should experiment to find ideal conditions for his operation.   We do know that if you are using antibiotic in water and feed, you must reduce the amount of antibiotics to 1/2 to 1/3. The XXX increases the effectiveness of the antibiotic to harmful levels.

The following statement was made by the operator of a small hatchery producing chickens, quail, pheasants, ducks and geese, who has used Dr. Willard's Water for several years.

"In general, birds on XXX had better survival rates, grew faster on less feed, required less space and were far quieter; which in turn required less work, time and expense to return more meat or eggs for use or sale."

For use in drinking water:
Add 2 ounce XXX to one gallon of water, then out of the diluted gallon add 1 ounce to one gallon of water.

For automated water systems:
Add one ounce XXX to each 70 gallons of water.   Use for all birds from day old chicks to mature layer or meat.

For use with feed:
Add 2 ounces XXX to one gallon of water.   Mix 1000 pounds of feed with this gallon of diluted XXX.   Spray onto the feed.
